SECOND CAREER PROGRAM
Second Career provides skills training and financial support for a Career change if you are a Laid-off worker, Ontario Works’ Client, WSIB Client, Mature Student and/or a Graduate!
The Ontario Government has designed the Second Career program to assist unemployed workers attending long-term training, to help them make a new direction to the economy’s trending areas. The Ontario Government will cover tuition, living expenses, and transportation for any qualified candidate. Many students utilize the second career grant to cover the full or partial payments of their program.
The Ontario Ministry of Training’s Second Career approach also pays for the training or education that Ontarians need for their Career Change. This program offers up to $28,000 in financial assistance for tuition, books, living expenses, child care, and disability support.
If you are a student, laid-off worker, internationally trained professional, eligible for Ontario Works, or a WSIB client (employee/company) from various sectors, you might be eligible for a Second Career grant and/or other potential grants at NACPT Pharma College!
*NACPT provides additional support to all potential students in the second career application process.
